Hayden went from not trusting me with our son to fully trusting me. She had me stay the night last night and watch him. Now, I am waiting for him to get out of preschool. I told Hayden she will have to come get him from the morgue because duty does call. She was skeptical at first at the thought of our son possibly seeing a dead body. I had to reassure her numerous times that we had nothing on the schedule for tonight. It is just appointments in planning. Mondays are our planning days with families of the deceased. She still did not like it, but she knew there was no choice.

I am also on standby if her mother does not make it back to town tonight. I am okay with her mother not coming back today. It will give me one more night hanging with my son. Bonus part, I will get to see Hayden in her scrubs again. I never thought hospital scrubs could be a turn on. But the way her scrubs hug her petite body just makes my cock pulsate. “Yeah, it is nice having coffee with her in the morning.”

“Oh son, you’re funny. I think I can keep her mother settled up at the cabin a few more nights.”

“I thought you were in South Dakota.”

“She wanted to see the cabin I’ve talked about.”

“There is a lot of good memories there. You’re serious about this one.”

He chuckles, “Something like that.”

“All right, well, I appreciate you stalling this out. I just want to spend as much time with my son as possible.”

“And his mother.”
